Leadership Development Training

Bode Bhaktapur Nepal Trade Union Congress (NTUC) organized Leadership development training on 8-12 July 2015 in Bhaktapur with the support of SASK. Mr. Shekhar Koiral, Central Member of Nepali Congress Party was invited as a chief gust in the inaugural session and Mr. Koiaral inaugurates the training and during his speech he said, "Training and education is very important to any organize to develop the leadership and make sustainable organization". Mr. Khila Nath Dahal, President of Nepal Trade Union Congress also address the in the inaugural session and he said, "Our future plan is to produce the educated leadership and make the strong organization and improve the livelihood of workers".  Mr. Pushkar Acharya, Constitution assembly member, Mr. Ganesh Prasad Niroula, Vice-President, Ms. Rama Poudyal, Voce-President (Women), Mr. Mahendra Prasad Yadav, General-Secretary, Mr. Yogendra Kunwar, Treasurer, Mr. Bal Dev Tamang, President of Youth Committee and Ms. Sudha Dahal, President of Women Committee also address in the inaugural session of training. Total 25 participants (12 from Women Committee and 13 from Youth Committee) were participated in the traing. During the five days training, we have discussed on the following topics i.e. Trade Union movement, Leadership Development, Collective Bargaining, Labour Law, Industrial Relation, ILO Convention, Gender, Present situation of Youth, Challenges to organize etc.  Mr. Mahesh Dahl, Mr. Chandra Dev Bhatta, Mr. Subran Karmacharya, Mr. Narayan Bhattarai, Ms. Shishila Bhatta, Mr. Mahendra Prasad Yadav, Mr. Sanjay Mishra, Mr. Yogendra Kunwar, Mr. Utar Chapagai, Mr. Khagendra Khatri, Mr. Ryo Siato and Mr. Bal Dev Tamag  serve the session as resource person.  The program was ended with the chairmanship of Mr. Khila Nath Dahal. Mr. Kedar Koirala, deputy General Secretary of Nepal Trade Union Congress coordinated everything and makes MC during the program.
