President of NTUC delivered his speech in the 105th session of ILC

Mr. Khila Nath Dahal, President of Nepal Trade Union Congress (NTUC) as well as the president of Joint Trade Union Coordination center (JTUCCC) delivered his speech in the plenary session of the 105th International Labour Conference (ILC) on 6th of June 2016 in Geneva as workers delegates from Nepal. In his speech, Mr. Dahal talked about the workers situation in Nepal, different labour issues which are already included in the constitution. Mr. Dahal said, "In this constitution right to establish the trade union, right to organize and bargain collectively and right to social security including contributory social security right are included". He also informs the international community about the development of reconstruction work. Mr. Dahal stressed, "We are committed to establish the workers' rights in the constitution in the future which are not included yet". From Nepal more than 10 delegates participated in the 105th ILC from the workers side. Mr. laxman Basnet, Immediate past president of NTUC, Ms. Rama Poudyal, Vice-President of NTUC and Mr. Mahendra Prasad Yadav, General-Secretary of NTUC also participated in the same forum.
