October 24, 2016 Along with the implementation of  the amendment bill for industry act in the new interim constitution, Nepal Factory Workers Union organized the Press Conference at Hetauda. Mr. Dhirendra Kumar Singh, President of Nepal Factory Workers Union Chaired the conference. More than 40 attendees were keenly eavesdropping the program. To withdraw the amendments bill that was passed on Asoj 12, 2073, 7 member committee was formed in the coordination and presidency of Mr. Singh which includes:

Minutes passed during the Conference were:

• Submission of memorandum to the labor minister on 2073/7/18 with the signature of President and Secretary from every NFWU district Unit.
• Submission of memorandum to the Prime Minister as well as industry minister through District Administrative Office with the signature of President and Secretariat from every NFWU district Unit.
• Display of Black Flex in every Factory on 2073/8/8 in order to protest
