NTUC submitted the delegation to Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Labor and employment

November 15, 2016 Nepal Trade Union Congress drag the attention of the Government by sending the delegation letter to Trade and Industry and Labor and employment ministries respectively. Labor and the workers from different formal and informal sectors were involved during the process of submission. NTUC affiliates also took part in the attentive day. The paper included the issues like no work no pay, right to trike, inclusion of trade union representatives in the process of drafting industrial law and so on. The understanding that came between trade union and ILO which was addressed by government in previous was neglected by the incumbent national consensus government. so, the trade union activist are against the decision of the government and strongly condemned to withdraw the drafting procedure as stated in the delegation letter. Meanwhile, the letter also urge to step back from the newly addressed law which is in the favor of industrialist and stop the systematic biasness of the labor. The letter also aware the government to come in consensus or face the strike and protest schedule that has been in the way.
