NTUC organized workshop on labor issues and social security at province level

November 28,2016 NTUC organized workshop on labor issues and social security at province level  in different parts of the country. The program invites the district representatives to affiliates members from all over the sector. More than 100 participants attended the workshop. The program date was delayed in the province no:3 and province no:6 due to some technical problem. NTUC central representatives and central members took the responsibility to interact and discuss about the agendas and cases of labor and workers. The program was laconic and lasted for the short time. Introduction, speech, queries, issues of cases and agendas were mostly steered in the session. The discussion covered all the common matters of labor situation till date and also recently draft industrial amendment law: No Work No Pay, Hire and Fire, No Right to Strike. Weak organizational effort, coordination and fraction within the leaders were some of the constraints quoted by the representatives. On the other hand, leaders retorted the overall members to assist and trust the central committee and also follow the consensus that were decided in the Central Committee meeting at Kartik 2 and 3. The program concluded with the decision to combat against the government industrial act, the probation period cultural in the different sectors and also the increment of the basic salary of all workers. The alliance of coping together came in the penultimate time of the closing.
