International Cooperative Day held successfully

5th July, 2019, Kathmandu.

Nepal Trade Union Congress cooperative and skill development department organized interaction program on the occasion of International cooperative day.

Main objectives of the program is to estalbish cooperative in each unit of Nepal Trade Union Congress structure.

Nepal Trade Union Congress President Bro. Pushkar Acharya explained that NTUC has planned to establish workers cooperative in each district of NTUC. Also, NTUC General Secretary Bro. Yogendra Kumar Kunwar clarified that workers coopertive can develop worker's social and financial aspects.

Accordingly, cooperative talisman Bro. Subarna Karmacharya presented conecpt, functions, regulations about cooperative management and establishment. Several leaders from affiliates union raised the concern and provided the comments during the session.

More than 50 participated the interactive program. Coordinator of cooperative and skill development and NTUC central committee member Sister Laxmi K.C chaired the program.
